Shopify Customer Support Outsourcing for DTC Brands

VFS is a DTC customer support partner built around Shopify. Our agents work natively inside Shopify orders, Gorgias or Zendesk macros, Recharge subscriptions, and Stripe disputes — with SOPs and QA designed specifically for Shopify support operations.

For Shopify and Shopify Plus brands that want a support operations partner who already speaks Shopify, not a generic outsourcer who needs a month of training.

The problems we usually hear first

These are the signs brands tell us about before they engage VFS.

  • Agents who don't understand Shopify order edits, refunds, or fulfillment statuses
  • Subscription cancellations leaking churn because nobody runs a save flow
  • Disputes lost because nobody packages Shopify Payments or Stripe evidence properly
  • Gorgias or Zendesk macros that are stale, missing, or contradict your policy
  • No reporting by ticket category, refund reason, or churn reason

What VFS handles

The work our agents own as part of this engagement, inside your existing tools.

  • Shopify order edits, address changes, and refunds
  • Gorgias, Zendesk, Help Scout, and Front coverage
  • Recharge, Skio, and Stay AI subscription support
  • Stripe and Shopify Payments dispute responses
  • Klaviyo flow questions and pre-sale product questions
  • 3PL escalations for lost or delayed Shopify orders
  • Shopify-specific SOPs, macros, and tagging structures
  • QA, CSAT, and category trend reports for Shopify support

A good fit

  • Shopify and Shopify Plus brands doing 150–2,500 tickets per week
  • Subscription DTC brands on Recharge, Skio, or Stay AI
  • Brands already using Gorgias, Zendesk, Help Scout, or Front
  • Founders who want a DTC customer support partner, not a generic BPO

Not a fit

  • Non-Shopify enterprise retailers needing custom call-center stacks
  • Brands with no helpdesk, no policy, and no ticket history
  • Brands wanting purely AI-only ticket deflection with no human agents

Frequently asked questions

Are your agents trained on Shopify specifically?

Yes. Onboarding includes Shopify Admin, order editing, refunds, fulfillment statuses, and the Gorgias or Zendesk integrations. We don't put untrained agents on a Shopify queue.

Do you support Shopify Plus brands?

Yes. Shopify Plus brands are a core fit because the operational complexity — subscriptions, B2B portals, multi-region payments — benefits from documented SOPs and QA.

Can you work inside Gorgias and Zendesk at the same time?

Yes. We support brands running both, and brands migrating between them. We rebuild macros and tagging on whichever helpdesk you choose.

Do you handle Recharge cancellations and save flows?

Yes. Cancellations, pauses, skips, swaps, and a documented save-desk script tied to your offer rules.

What about Stripe and Shopify Payments disputes?

We assemble evidence packs — order timeline, tracking, communication history, policy attachments — and submit through Shopify Payments or Stripe under your approval.

Want to see how this would look for your brand?

We'll review your helpdesk, ticket categories, and current coverage — and show you what an operationalized version of your support looks like.
